SHORE TEMPLE

It is believed that there were seven magnificent temples witch are known as the seven pagodas, built near sea shore. But the lonley survivor is the "shore" temple. It was originally constructed during the 7th century and later Narashimha Varman II, completed the skilled work in his rule. This is one of the oldest South Indian structural Temples, constructed in the Dravidan style. "Shore" Temple has gained popularity and tourist gather here because it has been listed among the World Heritage sites of the UNSCO .
