STUDYTRIP TO INDIA

I'm going to India! "Platform CONTEXT deals with habitation and a sustainable architecture based on complexity on all scales of a specific context, that involves geographical, historical, anthropological and social reflections, a cross cultural involvement and mutual learning as well as investigations into the most basic elements to define the core qualities of architecture: space, light and material in a human perspective." - www.context.aarch.dk So why not go to India? We have been preparing our studytrip since we started in September, and now it's really happeneing. We have been trough different phases of creating and designing a mulifunctionel building for our site on a farm in Tiruchirappalli in Tamil Nadu. We have also got an introduction to the indian culture and architecture by making our own guide book. Ourt start point is Chennai, and from here we will travel trough Tamil Nadu to Kerala, and after two weeks of sightseeing, we will go to our site in Tiruchirappalli (Trichy) and stay for four weeks - and most important of all - build our multifunctional building!
